If you wanna be a champions there is certain discipline and rules should be taking place in order to progress and achieve your goals you need to sacrifice many things which is more important and which is harmful to our body and we take it just to have fun or to enjoy a moment.
In bodybuilding like many other sports it requires endurance and power which is directly to the energy that our body produce,so if you have a healthy life style you are up to it,so in this article i am going to speak about things that each bodybuilder or athlete should avoid to achieve our goals.
Research has shown alcohol intake may cause a major setback in muscle gains and reaching fitness goals. It appears alcohol reduces muscle protein synthesis (MPS) impairing our muscle growth. Studies also show alcohol to alter hormone levels and decrease our metabolism. This means our ability to reduce body fat also becomes a problem.
2.Luck of Sleep :
After a though workout in the gym our body produced a lot of energy during the exercises,with so many tears and cuts in the muscle fibers which body start repairing it by using the protein synthesis which we consume so this process requires rest it happened only while we are sleeping during night post to a heavy session in the gym,so many Research shows that being sleep-deprived can actually encourage loss of muscle mass and hinder muscle recovery after a tough workout. Sleep deprivation can have major effects on athletic performance too, especially for endurance athletes.
Lack of sleep affects your ability to grow and repair muscle regardless of your age.
One study showed that a week of sleep deprivation in otherwise healthy young men resulted in decreased testosterone levels and increased spikes of cortisol, a stress hormone. Furthermore, cortisol levels may stay elevated until the following evening when you don’t get enough sleep.
Another study found that from ages 30 to 40, the total amount of growth hormone secreted during a 24-hour span decreases by two-to-three times. So for all you thirty-somethings, you already have biology working against you … don’t compound it by you can get by on 4-6 hours per night (a common range among my more ambitious friends).
3.Don’t be Negative :
All of have that little part of negativity when we realize that we have done a lot and still didn’t reach our goals or that moment that we feel down, i have had that experience before when i spend so much time in the gym and been working for so many years while someone just started not completed even a year and he is getting good result so the bad thoughts came to my mind that i should abandon and stop always remember it doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.
Many research had proofed that Negative attitudes and feelings of helplessness and hopelessness can create chronic stress, which upsets the body’s hormone balance, depletes the brain chemicals required for happiness, and damages the immune system. Chronic stress can actually decrease our lifespan. (Science has now identified that stress shortens our telomeres, the “end caps” of our DNA strands, which causes us to age more quickly.)
Poorly managed or repressed anger (hostility) is also related to a slew of health conditions, such as hypertension (high blood pressure), cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders, and infection.
Human body require a hormone called testosterone which is a key player n building muscles a long with that when we do exercises our body requires more rest unlike a non active person who doesn’t spend extra time in the gym just doing a job and lying on a bed , so a bodybuilder body requires more rest in compare with a non exercising person , this rest is highly required post to a workout session and important pre workout or during the rest day so that you can train with full capacity,so when one of this rest is broken and the saved energy is utilized in this bad habit you won’t be able to perform well in the gym,in case of post workout you totally damage your muscles which is already suffers from tears due to the exercises,so instead of giving rest to our body your putting more stress, add to that after a workout the testosterone is in a good level which is very important during this period so when you start playing with your self and after an ejaculation the testosterone levels drops down,results you destroyed what ever you build in that day in the gym.
many people won’t like this and they start arguing that is wrong as they already browsed in many blogs and some they searched on youtube which i am as well done and i found that 90% of people are saying its not armful and it has no relation with muscle growth,so what i wrote is from my personal experience and from a bodybuilder point of view.
